A Journey into the Bush
Explore the stunning nature photography of husband and wife team Etienne and Cara, of Territory Wild Images!

Etienne is an award winning photographer, with works published in various museum exhibitions, books, and magazines. He is also represented by the Nature Picture Library, a prestigious stock agency. Wild Territory Images strives to produce unique, high quality images of the wild animals and places of north Australia, with a focus on the Northern Territory.
They’ll be showcasing a variety of their prints, presented in frames and ready to be hung in your home to wow guests and family alike. Perfect for locals wanting a touch of the bush, or tourists looking for something special to remember their visit!
Meet the artists at the opening night, 18th of August, from 5:00PM to 6:30PM. Cold soft drinks are available for a gold coin donation, and snacks are provided.

Ross McHutcheon Exhibition
Painting stunning scenes of the northern outback, Ross McHutcheon is an artist with an incredible realistic style and a vibrant pallet courtesy of mother nature.

A View to Werrenbun - The Headstone Exhibition
Explore the Werrenbun area with Bolda Hunter, a local artist with a detailed style and a beautiful story to share. Shown is one of his pieces, depicting norronbidj (dragonflies) and jati (frogs) amongst the gem (water-lily) at Werrenbun. Opens Friday 30th June at 5:00PM at Contemplations art gallery (2/16 First Street, Katherine) and closes on Friday the 14th July.

Bolda Hunter - Kantri doesn’t see kala
An exhibition by Bolda Hunter. Adopted by the Jawoyn at 16 and recognised as one of the Keepers of Jawoyn Yernderr (cultural knowledge), Bolda is passionate about educating all people in the richness of Aboriginal culture.

Jodi Bilski - Beginnings
Living in Katherine for 40 years, Jodi has a passion for local landscapes and stunning natural compositions. With a poignant theme of ‘beginnings’ Jodi has captured sunrises, saplings and baby animals with a tender lens and celebrates all things new and starting to grow.
An exhibition of Jodi’s photography, showcasing her style and skills as well as the unique land that surrounds Katherine. The opening, at 5:00 PM on Tuesday the 1st of June, 2021 will have drinks and nibbles available to guests, and runs until 9:00 PM. Support local art, and come along.
